• Since 1985: expressionist and ballet dancer. Participating in numerous performance and moments through life.

• 2015-2017: dancer at “Al reem” dance group.

• 2011-2012: “Harmony” school for ballroom dancing.  

• 2000-2008: dancer at “Azkur” Musical, “Almidan Theater” – Haifa, Israel. Performing on over 140 stages within the Arab society and world. Winning the Carthage Theater festival honoring award- Tunisia, Oct 2001.

• 1996-1998: dancer at “Quatre El Nada” Musical, Production of “Yoad group for Culture and Arts”.

• 1985-1997: ballet and modern dancer at “Scheherazade dancing group- Kfar Yassif” – trained by dancer Manal Jarrar and Ukrainian teachers Irena Jammal & Andreh goszarov. the group performed in many national and international stages, nights, events, occasions, self-productions, and festivals. Meeting world cultures through music and dance.

• 1987-1998: learning & playing the piano, participated in recitals and concerts.

 

Work and experience in Education, social change, and human rights

• Feb 2019 up till now: Lecturer at the faculty of Social Science and Education – BA studies – Ono Academic college – The faculty of education and social studies– Campuses: Kiryat Ono and Haifa, in the field of art and education and the field of qualitative narrative based research in education.

• Mar 2017- Mar 2020: group facilitator, tour guide, developer and educator at the “museum without walls -Wadi Nisnas” project at Beit Hagefen – the Arab-Jewish cultural center in Haifa city. Facilitating tens of meetings, workshops and tours, educating and discussing the art of shared life, identity, home and more; in three languages (Arabic, Hebrew, English), for all ages and various populations including local and international individuals and groups, such as tourists, educators, lecturers, artists, teachers, students, pupils, organizations, etc. moreover, guided the art and culture tours for 3 years in biggest of Haifa’s festivals “The Holiday of Holidays”

Since 2008 - Independent and freelance art therapist. The work and experience have grown to include working with divers ages, cases, subjects, individuals, groups, topics, institutions, forms and shapes:

• Since 2012 up till today: tens of interactive workshops (paid/voluntarily) through “Sound, Color and Movement- SCM” project and initiative. For all ages indoors and outdoors. Visualizing sound through color is a live dialogue of color, sound and movement, as part of an ongoing research at the “Alhan Academy for Art and Life” project aiming to reflect the relation between Color and Sound and movement expression, revealing its magical influence in empowering the soul towards a better wellbeing within the ongoing conscious and subconscious reality and time of the here & now. Treating the body, the mind and the soul and learn to bring all existential similarities and contradictions to speak in harmony, maintaining the balance, merging the gaps of life in shape, origin, nature, color, size and all.

• Producing educational documentary slides as an overview, training and summary of programs and conferences, such as: the Haifa art therapists studying program (2008) and the sculpting symposium for art therapists – 3 days conference researching sculpting as therapy tool within clinical work. (July 2017).

• Conducted various training workshops and short training courses through art therapy for professionals such as group facilitators and educators in three languages: Arabic, Hebrew, and English.

• Individual and group therapy in diverse places and background:

  • “Si -El” – Child development therapy center. Young children (4 yrs. to 12 yrs. old) – private and group therapy. March 2022 up till today.

  • criminal youth - Yarka 2012.

  • “Beit El Mahhabbah” Institute for abandoned and abused children – Kfar Yassif (2009/2012).

** since 2009 till 2012 my work in the field of art therapy involved the professional supervision of Mrs. Tamar Hazout – Co-Founder and Head of art therapy course Haifa University (1985-2008). Supervision meetings were held twice a month between 2008-2012. Since 2012, supervision meetings, consulting and cooperation are held accordingly.
